METHOD OF HYDRAULIC CLEANING OF RAILWAY OPEN-TOP CARS FROM STUCK OR FROZEN LOOSE MATERIAL

FIELD: railway transport; mechanization of loading and unloading operations. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of hydraulic cleaning of open-top cars from stuck or frozen loose material comes to the following: open-top car bottom hatch covers 4 are opened and set at definite angle relative to bottom with preset slot precluding discharge of outside material unsuitable for transportation. Then open-top cars are fed to hydraulic plant with pressure nozzles 2, and loose material is removed from inner surfaces of cars by jets directed square to surface of bottom of open hatch covers. Loose material is separated from pulp and dehydrated. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning of open-top cars, prevention of output of outsize materials. 4 dwg
