PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bubble stability at the time of inflation molding such as of air cooling, or molten parison stability at the time of direct blow molding by treating an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer prepared by use of a single site catalyst and having specific physical properties. SOLUTION: The ethylene-α-olefin copolymer is treated with a radical generating agent and has a melt tension of 0.5 to 20 g. The copolymer has a density of 0.895 to 0.950, an MFR (190 deg.C, 2.16 kg) value of 0.1 to 100, MFR (190 deg.C, 10.0 kg)/MFR (190 deg.C, 2.16 kg)=5 to 10, and Mw/Mn=2.0 to 4.0. 100 pts.wt. of the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer prepared with by of a single site catalyst should preferably be treated with 0.01 to 0.5 pt.wt. of a radial generating agent. The radical generating agent includes a dicumyl compound, a decomposition-type radical generating agent such as of an azo type, a peroxide-type radical generating agent or the like. The copolymer should preferably be the one which is treated the co-existence of a stabilizer and an antioxidant. |
