PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient manufacturing by performing an injection molding at a particular value of injection rate, the injection temperature and injection pressure of an injection nozzle portion by using a composition containing polystyrene modified polyphenylene ether. SOLUTION: A raw material composition containing an elastomer and polystyrene modified polyphenylene ether having respectively a predetermined weight ratio is introduced through a hopper 6 into a cylinder 3 by a predetermined amount, and melted by rotating a screw 7 and actuating a heating means 4. A heating means 5 is then actuated, and the molten raw material composition is injection charged through an injection nozzle portion 2 into a mold 1 by controlling such that the injection rate is 120 cm3/sec or more, the injection pressure at an injection nozzle portion 2 is 130 Mpa or more, and the injection temperature is 290-320 deg.C. In addition, a runner is heated and gas existed in the molding gap is discharged outside, so as to separate a molded article from the mold after solidification. This results in the efficient manufacturing by means of a raw material composition containing polystyrene modified polyphenylene ether. |
