<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drain water, discharged out of a dew receiving pan, from leaking through a draining port unit or the connecting part of a connected hose and dripping to the outside of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A ceiling embedded type air conditioner is constituted of a main body casing 1, embedded into a ceiling surface and provided with a suction port arranged at the center of the lower surface of the casing 1 and with an air outlet port arranged at the periphery of the lower surface of the same, a fan consisting of a ventilating fan having an up-and-down direction driving shaft opposed to the suction port as well as a heat exchanger 6, which are arranged in an air passage connecting the air suction port and the air outlet port formed in the main body casing, a drain pump 8 arranged below the heat exchanger 6, and a dew receiving pan 7, equipped with a draining device consisting of a draining port unit 10 attached to an opening port unit opened at a part of the main body casing and a connecting hose 9, connecting the drain pump to the draining port unit. In such a ceiling embedded type air conditioner, the draining port unit is provided with a water guide member 11, guiding leaked water dripped from the connecting unit of the draining port unit to the dew receiving pan.</p> |
