<p>A tool management method comprising acquiring, during the course of machining by using an NC program, tool information, cutting condition information, and information on the cutting tool state obtained as a result of performing machining simulations using the NC program, measuring the actual amount of wear of the tool during the cutting operations, estimating the amount of wear of the tool from the above information, and deciding whether or not to allow the use of a tool concerned.</p> |
