<p>The invention relates to a system for the storage of objects in a larger cabinet (1), which exhibits a sealable door (2), inside which a number of smaller cabinets, each of which exhibits its own associated door, are capable of being accommodated. The larger cabinet (1) forms a basic cabinet, which is intended for the storage of documents, and the aforementioned smaller cabinets are in modules arranged for the storage of data and exhibit thermal resistance adapted to reduce the permissible maximum temperature of the basic cabinet to an appropriate level for the storage of data. The interlocking of the basic cabinet between its door and door frame is so arranged as to take place only at a single active interlocking point situated approximately at the centre of the door. A thermal piston is so arranged at the top and bottom end of the basic cabinet and is so arranged as to be released when actuated by heat, in so doing locking the top and bottom edges of the door to the frame of the basic cabinet.</p> |
