PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost high performance charged particle by composing the charged particles charged positively or negatibly and having a specific particle diameter of wax or a resin in which a colorant is dispersed or dissolved and an emulsifier coating a part of the surface of the wax or the resin. SOLUTION: These charged particles are positively or negatively charged in a dispersive medium, have 0.1-100μm average particle diameter and comprise wax or a resin containing a dispersed or dissolved colorant and an emulsifier coating a part of the surface of the wax or the resin. In the charged particles, the charging characteristics are imparted to the particles and controlled by the polar group of the emulsifier. For example, charged particles 12 comprising black charged particles 12a and white charged particles 12b and a liquid dispersive medium 14 are sealed in a microcapsule 10. The black charged particles 12a comprise e.g. carbon black and natural wax. The white charged particles 12b comprise e.g. titanium dioxide and natural wax. |
