<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the transmission efficiency from being deteriorated even when an error rate is increased due to noise or the like by dividing data consisting of blocks into data in the unit of cells, adding an error check code to each cell and sending a packet consisting of a plurality of cells in the unit of blocks. SOLUTION: A block processing section 40 divides LAN packets being transmission data from a LAn controller into blocks with a prescribed length or below. A transmission control (recovery) section 41 extracts one by one divided block each and generates a packet header including a transmission destination address and a transmission source address or the like. Then a data part of the transmission packet, that is, the blocks are outputted to a scramble/ECC provision section 42. Then the scramble/ECC provision section 42 receives a data part of the packet and divides the data for each prescribed length to generate the cell and scramble the data in the unit of cells. Then the cell subject to a prescribed processing is modulated and outputted to a transmission section 43.</p> |
