<p>Method for treating finished garments, cloths and yarns made of wool, comprising a chemical treatment stage and a mechanical treatment stage in combination, in which the chemical treatment stage involves wetting the finished garment, cloth or yarn first with a reducing solution and then with an oxidizing solution, and the mechanical treatment stage involves stretching the finished garment, cloth or yarn. The treatment prevents shrinking and/or felting, and is capable of restoring the dimensions and surface characteristics of the shrunk and/or felted woollen garment.</p> |
