PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that the service lives of a developing means and developer are prolonged and image quality is prevented from being deteriorated because of color staining. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with plural electrification means 201, plural exposure means 301 being the latent image forming means and plural developing means 401 near an image carrier in turn and constituted so that a toner image is successively formed on the image carrier. When a developing process is executed by the smaller number of developing means 401 than the plural developing means 401, the developing means which is not used for developing is not pressed. Thus, time required for driving the image carrier is also shortened and the service lives of the electrification means, the developing means and the developer are prolonged. Besides, since the color staining is prevented from occurring by the toner of the developing means which is not required, the excellent image quality is obtained and power consumption is saved. |
