MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR TIN-CHROME PLATED STEEL SHEET WITH GOOD WELDABILITY

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing tin-chrome plated steel sheet with good weld ability plates the steel sheet with tin without using a brightening agent and subjects the tin-plated steel sheet to a reflow process at about 240°C, thereby enhancing adhesion between a tin projection and a substrate. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: skimming a successively fed coil type steel sheet; partly plating the surface of the steel sheet with tin in a tin oxide plating bath; reflowing the tin-plated steel sheet at 235 to 245°C; and plating the steel sheet with chrome hydrate and metal chrome. The feeding rate of the steel sheet is 120 to 240 m/min.
