PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame body for a total heat exchanger capable of producing a total heat exchanger having high heat exchanging efficiency and good maneuverability with high productivity and a total heat exchanger using it. SOLUTION: A frame body 3 for a total heat exchanger is used for a total heat exchanger 2 for performing a total heat exchange between gas flowing in a first passage 41 and gas flowing in a second passage 42 through total heat exchange elements 6. A base 4 has a substantially S shaped hole 41a having a pair of wall surfaces 41b, an inlet port 43 for gas at one end and an exhaust port 44 for gas at the other end. The hole 41a forms the first passage 41 upon viewing from one main surface (for instance, a direction shown by an arrow A) side of the base 4 and the hole 41a forms the second passage upon viewing from the other main surface (for instance, a direction shown by an arrow B). |
