PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeled bisphenol A compound usable for the analysis of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane (bisphenol A). SOLUTION: This labeled bisphenol A compound is 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl) propane having at least one carbon atom labeled with carbon 13 (13C). Concrete examples of the compound are 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,2,3-tri13C-propane, 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-di13C-propane, 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy-1,2,3,4,5,6-hexa13C- phenyl)propane and 2,2-bis(4-hydroxy-4-13C-phenyl)propane. The labeled compound can be used in the analysis of bisphenol A. |
