<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a weight of the whole common rail by providing a fixing part of attaching the common rail to a mating member integrally in a part of a ringlike or semicircular joint fitting surrounding an outer peripheral part of a main pipe rail. SOLUTION: A common rail such as a high pressure fuel multibranch pipe in a fuel injection system of a diesel internal combustion engine is constituted in such a way that a pressing seat face 2-3 formed by a connection head part 2-2 on a branch pipe 2 side is brought into contact with a pressure receive seat face 1-3 on a main pipe rail 1 side and is engaged with it and a tightening nut 4 assembled in a branch pipe side through a sleeve washer 5 is screwed in a screw wall 3A-1 of a joint fitting 3A. At this time, a fixing part 3A-2 formed by a boss part having a screw hole is protrusively provided integrally in a part of the joint fitting 3A except the screw wall 3A-1, and the fixing part 3A-2 is attached to a mating member 6 such as a stay which is attached integrally with an engine block by a tightening bolt 7. Consequently, a weight of the whole common rail can be reduced without increasing a length of the main pipe rail 1.</p> |
