PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a difference between a speed stage estimated by a driver and a real speed stage in holding a speed stage immediately before shifting to the automatic mode at the time of shifting to the manual mode, by inhibiting the holding of the speed stage during the time of passing through a specified high speed stage carried out at the time of shifting to a traveling range.
