This method applies to a patient using a communicating portable injector (2) and comprises tracking steps that take place after an injection (2c) and wherein a gateway (4) collects (4c) from the injector (2) a first data set (D0) related to the injection, said gateway transmits a second data set (D'0) to a secure database (6), and said database analyses and communicates (6b) the results of the analysis to at least one person involved in the treatment, more particularly the patient. The method further comprises at least one reminder step that takes place when said patient has forgotten an injection, i.e. when the gateway has not collected the first data set (D0) related to the injection after a predetermined length of time that begins counting at the end of an injection time slot, and which consists of sending an alert message to at least one person involved in the treatment, selected from the acquaintances of said patient. |
