PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow automatic centering of a member to be rotated to be smoothly and easily performed with simplified construction. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a rotating member supporting base 11 onto which members to be rotated 12, M are disposed so as to be movable in the radius direction, and a rotating member pressurizing member 14 for pushing and fixing the members to be rotated 12, M against the rotating member supporting base 11 after the members to be rotated 12, M on the rotating member supporting base 11 begin to rotate around the center of gravity of the members to be rotated 12, M. Thus, the members to be rotated 12, M are allowed to freely move by themself until the center of gravity of the members to be rotated 12, M coincides with the rotating center. Thereafter, the members to be rotated 12, M are firmly fixed by the rotating member pressuring member 14 so as not to move, thereby allowing the rotation to continue while the balanced condition of the members to be rotated 12, M is maintained at high precision. |
