PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition useful for applications where negative ions are amplified and maintained persistently and far-infrared rays simultaneously irradiated are used by mixing a mineral containing rare elements with a polymer compound resistant to electrostatic charge or a negatively charged polymer compound. SOLUTION: As a polymer compound resistant to electrostatic charge, silicone rubbers, styrene butadiene latex and expanded foam rubbers are preferred. As a negatively charged polymer compound, polyethylene elastomers polymerized with a metallocene catalyst, styrene/butadiene/styrene copolymers, styrene/ butadiene or ethylene/propylene diene rubbers and foamed rubbers are preferred. As a mineral containing a rare element, monazite and bastnaesite are preferred. The composition is useful as soil conditioners and feedstuff modifiers and for health and therapeutic apparatus and articles for industrial use. |
