PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive compact air conditioner which can air- condition a relatively limited space of lavatory, or the like, comfortably. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises an indoor section 15 for containing a crossflow fan 8 and an indoor heat exchanger 9 and having an indoor air inlet and an opening for blowing the indoor air into a room through the indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor section 16 for containing a compressor 3, a pressure reducing unit, a Sirocco fan 5 and an outdoor heat exchanger 6 and having an outer air inlet 17 and an opening 18 for blowing the outer air to the outside through the outdoor heat exchanger, a damper 24 for opening/ closing an interconnecting hole 23 made through a barrier wall 14 partitioning the indoor section and the outdoor section, an outdoor cabinet 11 mounted on the outdoor wall face, an indoor cabinet 12 disposed in the room and a duct 13. |
