<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of a transfer speed by adding information indicating a random error detected in a received packet to a resending request and transferring the information added request to a transmitting station, transfer ring a resending request to the transmitting station in detecting a packet loss, starting flow control when a cause of a resending request is a packet loss, and continuing packet exchange when the cause is a random error. SOLUTION: In receiving a packet to a transmitting station itself, the transmitting station refers to the header of the packet, and when the identification(ID) code of a packet canceled by a receiving station due to a random error is registered, judges that the packet is lost due to noise or interference independent of congestion and resends the packet requested to be resent without starting flow control for evading congestion. When the ID code is not registered in the header of the packet, the transmitting station judges that the packet is lost due to a nonrandom error mainly caused by congestion such as a packet loss and starts flow control.</p> |
