PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of images blurred more than necessary when the image is subjected to perspective in interlace plotting or under perspective condition biased either in the vertical or horizontal direction (for example, an image obtained by perspective projection). SOLUTION: Displacement quantities (dudx-dvdy) at the UV coordinates of a two-dimensional image texture to be attached to a multi-dimensional graphic are calculated by a UV displacement quantity calculating device 10 from texture coordinates (s, t, q) of the multi-dimensional graphic and displacement quantities (dsdx-dqdy) at the XY coordinates on which the graphic is mapped. Then, those displacement quantities are multiplied by the numerical values of k1-k4 so as to be adjusted by a UV displacement quantity adjusting device 11 so that ((dudx)2-(dvdy)2) can be obtained. The reduction rate of the texture is calculated by a final reduction rate calculating device 12 so that the reduction rate of an MIPMAP (multum in parvo mapping) filtering can be obtained. |
