PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protection material providing good feeling of wearing, and having piercing resistance and cutting resistance by laminating plural sheets of fabric obtained by weaving a spun yarn of a high strength fiber having not less than a specific value of a tensile strength, and impregnating a rosin. SOLUTION: This protection material is obtained by laminating plural sheets of woven fabric obtained by weaving a spun yarn of a high strength yarn having >=20 g/d tensile strength, e.g. an aramid fiber comprising a copoly(paraphenylene and 3,4-oxydiphenyleneterephthalamide), and having <=2 mm thickness and <=1,200 g/m2 weight, preferably <=700 g/m2 weight, allowing a rosin to be attached to the laminated woven fabric so that the amount of the rosin may be 0.5-100 wt.%, preferably 3-30 wt.% based on the weight of the laminated woven fabric. |
