<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP(plasma display panel) device miniaturized and reduced in weight. SOLUTION: In this PDP display device, a metal substrate 200, not a glass substrate, is used for a rear surface panel, and a driving circuit 214 for driving electrodes is arranged in a back surface, which is not used for display as a PDP, through an insulating film. The driving circuit and electrodes of the panel are electrically connected to each other through the metal substrate or through an insulator arranged at a peripheral edge side of the metal substrate.</p> |
