PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dyed or printed article which has no mottles and is uniform and highly concentrated, by using a reactive dye composition containing a reactive dye and an aniline derivative or a salt thereof, the reactive dye having an excellent solubility to an aqueous solution containing alkaline agents. SOLUTION: The reactive dye composition comprises at least one reactive dye and at least one compound selected from among aniline derivatives of the formula and salts thereof. In the formula, R is a lower alkyl, lower alkylcarbonyl, 2-4C alkenylcarbonyl, phenyl or the like group, that may be substituted; R1 is hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl that may be substituted, lower alkoxy that may be substituted, halogeno, hydroxy, carboxy or sulfo; and Z1 is hydroxy,β-hydroxyethyl, -CH=CH2 or -CH2CH2Z1' (Z1 is a radical eliminated by the action of an alkali). The proportion of the aniline derivative (salt) is preferably 0.5-250 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the reactive dye.
