A high frequency quad antenna includes a full wavelength driven element, a director element spaced from one side of the driven element by a distance equivalent to between 0.12 and 0.50 of the wavelength at the operating frequency of the antenna, and a reflector element. The reflector element is spaced from the other side of the driven element by a distance which is greater than that between the driven element and the director element. The total conductor length of the director element is less than that of the driven element by between 5 and 15 % and the total conductor length of the reflector element is greater than that of the driven element by between 5 and 15 %. |
