<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive an electronic mail at respectively different interval of receiving mails by setting a mail receiving interval at the time of receiving the electronic mails from mail servers connected to different networks to be different depending on the kinds of the networks. SOLUTION: A network control part 21, an ISDN-I/F 22 and an LAN-I/F 23 respectively receive the electronic mails from the mail servers connected to the different networks of a PSTN 4, an ISDN 3 and a LAN 2. In addition, an operation display part 15, a CPU 17 and a RAM 19 set a mail receiving interval at the time of receiving the electronic mails from respective networks by their electronic mail receiving means to be different depending on the kind of the network. In addition, the CPU detects the presence/absence of the connection of the electronic mail receiving means and receives the electronic mail by using the electronic mail receiving interval set to the electronic mail receiving means.</p> |
