PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy carrying even in the case that an electric vacuum cleaner is placed upright by providing a grip part for the connecting part of a hose separately from the connecting part and extending the grip part in the direction of the extension of the hose. SOLUTION: A suction opening 4 is formed in the front surface of a main body 2. A connecting pipe 5 is provided for the other end of a hose 1. A grip part 6 is provided for the connecting pipe 5. An extension pipe 7 is detachably installed to the connecting pipe 5. A floor surface suction device 8 is detachably installed to the other side of the extension pipe 7. On the other hand, the end part of the hose 1 is provided with a connecting part 10, and the hose 1 and the suction opening 4 of the main body 2 are connected by the connecting part 10. The connecting part 10 is provided with a grip part 11 for carrying the main body 2 in a sate placed upright with the hose 1 installed. The grip part 11 is extended in the direction of the extension of the hose 1. By this, it is possible to carry the main body 2 placed upright easily. |
