PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hollow fiber having a curb type cross section good in e.g. featherweight feeling, bulky property, heat-retaining properties or water- repellency, having a particular feeling of touch, provided with a glint-suppressing and excellent delustering effect and capable of being well taken up without missing cross-winding in package. SOLUTION: This hollow fiber of thermoplastic polymer has a curb type cross section in which a tetragonal section is provided with a hollow section in the nearly center thereof and 2 projections are formed on each corner of the tetragonal section, and the fiber comprises 0.1 to 10.0 wt.% of titanium oxide fine particles based on the whole fiber and a coefficient of dynamic friction (F/Fμd) between the fiber yarns is >=2.9.
