PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately transmit angular velocity of an output shaft to a photoreceptor by matching a shaft center of the output shaft and a shaft center of the photoreceptor supporting shaft in a state where an image forming unit is positioned to a device main body and having couplings of both be engaged. SOLUTION: In this color image forming device, a collar 43 of the photoreceptor shaft 40 is positioned to a specified position by having it nipped by a V shaped groove when a detent lever 82 is energized in a direction so that the collar 43 is pushed against a guide plate 81. Engagement with a recessed shape tapered surface 48 of the photoreceptor shaft 40 is started when a tapered tip part 75 of the output shaft 70 is pushed out and the photoreceptor shaft 40 is made to travel forward, while it is matched to the shaft center of the output shaft 70. The shaft center of the photoreceptor shaft 40 and the shaft center of the output shaft 70 are completely matched with when the tapered tip 75 and the recessed shape tapered surface 48 are engaged to each other and a thrust bearing is pushed against the output shaft 70 and the photoreceptor 30 is accurately positioned to an image forming position. Then, coupling plates 42 and 61 are engaged to each other when the tapered tip part 75 and the recessed tapered surface 48 are engaged with each other and a state where the rotational force of the output shaft 70 can be transmitted to the photoreceptor 30 is obtained.
