<p>A display screen (201) provides an image of a set of surfaces, e.g. a polyhedron (204), each one of the surfaces depicting a menu option. A remote control device is provided for providing an input signal to the television (201), which responds to the input signal by manipulating the orientation of the surfaces, and exposing the various menu options available to the user. The user can then click on the desired face of the polyhedron, corresponding to the desired option. In one embodiment, the remote control device comprises sensing means for detecting the motion and/or position of the remote control device. The polyhedron moves in a manner that tracks motion of the remote control device.</p> |
