<p>An extruded composite artificial lumber product is manufactured from wood fibers, a polyethylene matrix and a foaming agent. A mixture is extruded through a molding die which forms the profile of the desired product. The endothermic foaming agent causes greater expansion in the center of the extruded profile and increased density at the outer edges of the extruded profile.</p> |
