<p>An apparatus, for selectively performing, in parallel structures, different functions on input data. There are at least two circuits (1113, 1117, 1119), each circuit being coupled to the input and configured to perform a different function on the input data. A motion-detection circuit (1109), coupled to the input (1101) and each circuit, is configured to determine a level of change in the input data and generate an output of motion data, which is used by each circuit to perform its corresponding function. A selective device (1131), coupled to each circuit and a control input (1105), is configured to select the output of one of the circuits based upon the control input. The different functions performed on the input data may be selected from the group consisting of recovering erroneous data contained in the input data, interpolating the input data, and reducing the noise level of the input data.</p> |
