PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely lock a rotor at an arbitrary lag or advance position by providing a guide lock means for leading the rotor to the predetermined constraining position in relation to a case side, and providing a constraining lock means for constraining the rotor in relation to the case. SOLUTION: When the hydraulic force to be applied to a guide stopper pin 1 and a constraining stopper pin 4 becomes smaller than the energizing force of springs 3, 6, both the pins 1, 4 are moved in a fitting direction in relation to engaging recessed parts 42a, 42b. An engaging projecting part 1a of the pin 1 and the corresponding recessed part 42a are formed into a tapered pin shape, and since the taper angle of the recessed part 42a is larger than the taper angle of the projecting part 1a, the projecting part 1a is fitted smoothly in the recessed part 42a, and positional displacement can be corrected. The pin 4 is moved forward by the spring 6, and an engaging projecting part 4a is fitted in the recessed part 42b, and a case 3 and a rotor 44 are constrained freely to turnably in synchronism with each other. The rotor 44 can be surely constrained at the lag or the advance position with a simple structure, and the optimal timing of opening and closing a valve can be realized. |
