PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily insert characters and a graphic pattern to a print as to designated by a user without causing any adverse effect to a picture on the print by providing an image recording means or the like that scans and exposes a sensitive material in a single process depending on output image composite data and records a picture on the sensitive material. SOLUTION: Output composite image data generated by an image composite section 22 are fed to the image recording section of a printer 16 that is an image recording means. On the other hand, the sensitive material is cut to a length decided by a CPU 24 in a carrying direction to prepare a cut sheet of a prescribed size and a sensitive material carrying means 33 carries the sensitive material to the imaged recording section. The image recording section applies digital scanning exposure to the sensitive material sheet in a single process in response to the output synthesis image data to form a latent image onto the sensitive material. Then the sensitive material carrying means 33 carries the exposed sensitive material on which the latent image of the synthesis image is formed to a developer, where development processing is applied to the sensitive material to generate a finished print. |
