PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the best use of the capacity of a waste toner storing container and to obtain sufficient filling amount by providing a toner carrying member carrying waste toner from an entrance to an inner side and making the part near the entrance of the waste toner storing container have cross section shape narrower than the parts on the inner side. SOLUTION: The part 251c near the waste toner entrance 251b of the waste toner storing container 251 has the cross section narrower than the part 251d thereof on the inner side. Therefore, the part 251c receives reaction force from the inner wall of the container when a coil auger 255 is rotated, and obtains driving force to carry the waste toner leftward. When the waste toner is carried to the inner part 251d from the part 251c, the container has wide capacity there and the sufficient amount of waste toner is stored. The coil auger 255 has spiral shape to nearly the center part of the container 251, and is linear to its leading edge from the spiral shape part so as to avoid the resistance of rotation by the waste toner. |
