PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the lubricating life by lubricating a ball screw with a grease to which at least one compound selected from organic nickel compound and organic tellurium compound is blended. SOLUTION: This ball screw is lubricated with a grease based on mineral oil, synthetic oil, or mixed oil to which at least one compound selected from organic nickel compound and organic tellurium compound with nickel or tellurium as metal source using a metal salt compound, coordination compound, additive compound, alkyl metal compound, metal acid ester, and metal alkoxide compound of an organic acid as organic carboxylic acid compound, organic sulfur acid compound or organic phosphoric acid is blended. According to this, since the grease feeding interval can be extended without damaging the ball screw raceway, the lubricating life can be extended. |
