PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thrombin aqueous liquid preparation useful for hemostasis and measurement of the amount of fibrinogen by including a thrombin, a modified cyclodextrin as a stabilizer and an aqueous solvent. SOLUTION: The objective an aqueous liquid preparation comprises (A) a thrombin as a principal ingredient, (B) a modified cyclodextrin as a stabilizer and (C) an aqueous solvent.α-Thrombin,β-thrombin of the degradation product thereof, prothrombin of the degradation product of theα-thrombin, and the like are cited as the component A, and theα-thrombin is suitable. A hydroxyalkylated cyclodextrin and a sulfoalkyl-added cyclodextrin are preferable as the component B, and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin and sulfobutyl ether-β- cyclodextrin are more preferable. Distilled water for injection or the like is preferably used as the component C.
