NON-AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF NON-SPHERICAL POROUS CROSSLINKED RESIN, ITS PRODUCTION AND MATTE COATING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-aqueous dispersion of a non-spherical porous crosslinked resin having small precipitation speed even in the case of coarse particle having a dispersed particle size of >=1μm and easily redispersible after precipitation by decreasing the density difference between the particle and a medium, provide its production process and obtain a matte coating composition having excellent water-resistance, weather resistance and dispersion stability, exhibiting stable dullness and produced by using the non-aqueous dispersion of the non-spherical porous crosslinked resin. SOLUTION: The non-aqueous dispersion of a non-spherical porous crosslinked resin is composed of (A) a non-spherical porous crosslinked resin having a specific surface area of >=5 m2/g and an average size of 1-100μm, (B) an amphiphatic polymer dispersing agent produced by the polymerization of (b1) a hydrophobic polymerizable monomer and (b2) a hydrophilic polymerizable monomer and (C) a non-aqueous solvent.
