PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the unevenness of printing while eliminating the unevenness of carrying quantity of the recording medium by setting the carrying quantity of the recording medium at positive integer number times as large as the carrying quantity of a roller gear by one tooth thereof. SOLUTION: The rotating force of a driving rotary shaft 7a of an LF motor 7 is transmitted to a roller 5 through an LF motor gear 8, reduction gears 9, 10 and a roller gear 6. In the case where peripheral length of the roller 5 is expressed with L1, the number of teeth of the roller gear 6 is expressed with (z), an arbitrary positive integer is expressed with (n), and carrying quantity of the recording medium 11 at the time of printing is expressed with L2, they are set so as to satisfy a formula L2=n×(L1/(z)). Namely, carrying quantity of the recording medium 11 is set at a positive integer times as large as the carrying quantity of the roller gear 6 by one tooth thereof. At the time of printing, carrying quantity of the recording medium 11 requiring the accuracy is set at positive integer times as large as the roller gear 6 by one tooth thereof so as to eliminate the influence of the unevenness of the transmission ratio of the rotating angle at the time of transmitting the drive with gears, and unevenness of the carrying quantity of the recording medium 11 can be prevented.
