PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the discrimination accuracy of a special original by conducting discrimination processing for a plurality of number of times through the use of the same image data. SOLUTION: Image data are received (S101), the received image data are stored (S102), and the processing to receive the stored image data and to discriminate whether or not the image data are image data representing a special picture of a paper note securities is executed for a prescribed number of times as to the same stored image data (S102, S104, S106, and S108). Then every time the processing to discriminate whether or not the image data represent the special image is executed, a discrimination parameter used for the discrimination is changed. |
