摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reduction of an engine output and to stabilize combustion by determining the basic ignition timing and aperture ignition timing, determining a ignition timing drift quantity from the difference between the basic ignition timing and the aperture ignition timing, and correcting the basic ignition timing with the drift quantity to determine the control ignition timing at the time of the start or acceleration of a vehicle. SOLUTION: When an engine 2 is operated, the control means 124 of this ignition timing control device 122 receives output signals of a vehicle speed sensor 126, a crank angle sensor 128, a range position switch 130 and an idle switch 150, determines the basic ignition timing based on the engine speed and load at the time of the start or acceleration of a vehicle, determines the aperture ignition timing based on the engine speed and throttle aperture, determines the ignition timing drift quantity from the difference between the basic ignition timing and the aperture ignition timing, corrects the basic ignition timing with this drift quantity to determine the control ignition timing, and controls an ignition coil 108 according to this control ignition timing to control the ignition timing of the engine 2.
