PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous rotor information from being inputted from an operating panel without replacing a ROM to improve reliability and safety of a centrifuge by providing a function of deciding whether the rotor information inputted from the operating panel is correct or not. SOLUTION: Operating conditions inputted by a switch part 3 are stored in a RAM 6 through a microcomputer 4 and are indicated in an indicating part 2. The RAM 6 is constituted so that even if a power source of a centrifuge is turned off, data are held in a battery 7. Information on plural rotors A-L is stored in rotor A information 11, rotor B information 12-rotor L information 13 of a ROM 5 in advance, and on operating the centrifuge, by a rotor identification sensor 8, the rotor is identified, and the used rotor information is taken in the microcomputer 4 from the ROM 5. And the rotor information inputted from an operating panel 1 is constituted of rotor identifying data, the maximum revolution, the radius of gyration of the rotor or the like, and data for checking whether the inputted data are correct.
