摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser-stimulated solid state laser apparatus which prevents unstable laser outputs due to refraction changes of optical elements or air within a resonator caused by the variations of ambient temperature and the flow of outside air. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser-stimulated solid state laser apparatus is constructed such that a resonator 18 is accommodated within a chamber 26 of a closed structure having light-transmitting windows 24 and 25. The window 24 is formed by coating both surfaces thereof so as to exhibit a high transmittance with respect to a semiconductor laser beam whose wavelength is 809 nm. The window 25 is formed by coating both surfaces thereof so as to exhibit a high transmittance with respect to an SHG output beam from the resonator 18. As a result, the influence of varying ambient temperatures and flowing outside air upon the inside of the resonator 18 can be eliminated, and hence the stability of a laser output beam can be improved.
