PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of picture quality due to an edge component appearing when section areas are switched. SOLUTION: The picture processor applies picture processing to an edge occurred in the boundary of section areas so that it is not conspicuous by a section processing for reading a picture with reading conditions different for each of the section areas based on a brake pointer showing the positions of a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction, where the reading conditions change, sequence pointer showing the next pointer sequence and an attribute pointer showing the reading condition. A frame is formed around the section area by smoothing and masking the picture of the boundary and emphasizing the edge in the section areas. |
