PURPOSE: A linear actuator for energizing a permanent magnet is provided to improve the output of the actuator by increasing the magnetic flux intensity of the magnet. CONSTITUTION: A linear actuator for energizing a permanent magnet comprises a plurality of U-shaped core(10), a winding(20), and a movable member(30). The U-shaped cores(10) are separated from a same axis. The winding is wound on the tip ends of the U-shaped cores(10). The movable member(30) is installed in an inner space, which is formed between the both ends of the U-shaped core. The movable member(30) comprises a plurality of permanent magnets(31) and a core(32). The same magnetic poles of the permanent magnets(31) are located on a same direction.
