PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent connector housings of an insulation pedestal mounted on a stator in a washing tub equipped with an outer rotor type motor rotating a rotary tub on the rear part of the washing tub, from being pooled inside. SOLUTION: This washing machine is provided with an insulation pedestal 43 with connector housings 45, 46, so that openings of the connector housings 45, 46 point downward. Thereby, even if there happens dew ondensation on the inside of the connector housings 45, 46, pool formation can be prevented by discharging water through the openings of the connector housings 45, 46 downward, and dew generated in the part other than the insulation pedestal 43 can be also prevented from following in through the openings of the connector housings 45, 46.
