PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent backfire of a combustion device and reduce noise thereof. SOLUTION: Combustion equipment is provided with a no-bottom tubular mixing tube 16, provided with inlet ports, sucking primary air by the ejector effect of fuel gas and arranged so as to be opposed to each other, a cylindrical mixing tube unit 18, having a ceiling attached to the upper opening side so as to cover the mixing tube, and a combustion unit 20, continued to the mixing tube unit, while the diameter of the combustion unit 20 is made larger than that of the mixing tube unit 18, constituted of a double-wall structure. Accordingly, the temperature of mixed gas in the burner is maintained at a comparatively low temperature by the heat shielding and sound shielding effect in the upper part of the burner, which is readily becoming high temperature due to flames, through the double-wall whereby an abnormal combustion, such as backfire phenomenon which tends to generate at the time when the temperature of mixed gas is increased too high to produce stagnation in the flow of mixed gas, can be reduced and the mixing sound of the mixed gas can also be reduced by the sound shielding effect. |
