<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coat removing tool which can easily remove the coat of a large-diameter covered wire, even at a narrow place without using a cutting tool, such as a knife, etc. SOLUTION: A coat removing tool is constituted of a blade holder 4, which is attached to the lower part of a threaded shaft 3 passed through a frame 1 by screwing the shaft 3 in a hole made through the frame 1, a pair of coat cutting blades 5 and 5 attached to both ends of the holder 4, and a coat removing mechanism 6 which removes the coat of a covered wire from the core of the covered wire between the cut sections cut by means of the blades 5 and 5. After the coat of the wire is cut at a prescribed interval by means of the blades 5 and 5, the coat is removed from the core by pressing the pressing body 9 of the coat removing tool against the peripheral surface of the coating between the cut sections.</p> |
