<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable wooden golf club head having a 'soft' ball hitting feeling inherent to wooden golf club head made of natural wood and being improved in dimensional stability and ball hitting durability, and a method for manufacturing the wooden golf club head, capable of producing the wooden golf club head efficiently in a short time. SOLUTION: The inside of a pressure vessel 5 is filled with high pressure steam and boiled by steam to soften a wooden golf club head basic material, then molds 10, 11, 12, 13 are pressed and closed under high pressure steam atmosphere to compression-mold the wooden golf club head basic material so as to form it into a wooden golf club head 1 having a predetermined shape, and a temperature of steam is increased while it is compression-molded to perform treatment for fixing compression shape.</p> |
