PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely grasp a battery of a desired specification to be accomodated in a battery accomodating part. SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises a housing covering an apparatus body, a battery accomodating part 15 capable of acomodating a battery 178 supplying the power to the apparatus body, and a cover body 172 capable of opening and closing the battery accomodating part 15. An outer peripheral surface of the housing or the cover body 172 is provided with a first identification part 185 having a size approximately equal to that of the shape of an end surface capable of forming an electrode of the battery 178 to be accomodated in the battery accomodaing part 15.
